Mahindra has brought back the Bolero Bold Edition for 2026. The Mahindra Bolero Bold Edition adds bronze touches on the outside, new seat covers on the inside and a rear-view camera. It is not a new variant. It is an accessory pack that your dealer fits on a normal Bolero. The engine does not change. Mahindra has not shared the price of the pack yet.

What is the Mahindra Bolero Bold Edition?

The Bold Edition is a style pack for the Bolero. Mahindra calls it a set of accessories that you get at the dealer. You buy a normal Bolero, and the dealer adds the Bold parts to it.

This is not the first time. Mahindra also sold a Bold Edition of the Bolero last year. The 2026 pack is the new version of that idea.

The main theme is black and bronze. Mahindra's own ad for the car uses the line "Bold Hai Boss".

Bolero Bold Edition exterior changes

Most of the changes are on the outside. Here is what the pack adds:

Part What changes
Grille Bronze inserts
Fog lamps Bronze surrounds
Roof rails Bronze accents
Side cladding Dual-tone black and bronze
ORVMs (side mirrors) Bronze applique
Alloy wheels 15-inch, bronze finish
Badging "Bold Edition" badge on the side

The bronze looks best on a dark car. In Mahindra's photos, the Bold Edition is shown in black. The rest of the body stays the same. It still has the boxy shape that people know and like.

Bolero Bold Edition interior and features

Inside, there are three changes:

  1. Dual-tone black and bronze leatherette seat covers.
  2. Designer floor mats.
  3. A rear-view camera.

The rear-view camera is the most useful add-on. The Bolero is long and tall. A camera makes it easier to park in tight spots.

The dashboard and the touchscreen stay the same as the normal Bolero. There are no new safety features like ADAS in this pack.

Who is the Bolero Bold Edition for?

The Bold Edition is for people who want their Bolero to look a little special. Many Bolero owners like to add parts after they buy the car. They fit new wheels, seat covers or stickers. With this pack, they get a set of parts that Mahindra has picked and that match each other.

It is also a good choice if you want a rear-view camera. The normal Bolero does not make parking easy. The camera helps a lot in small lanes and busy markets.

Bolero Bold Edition price

Mahindra has not shared the price of the Bold Edition pack. So the extra cost is TBA for now. You will need to ask your nearest Mahindra dealer for the exact price.

Your final cost will be the price of the Bolero variant you pick plus the cost of the pack. Here are the current ex-showroom prices of the normal Bolero, as listed by Autocar India:

Bolero variant Ex-showroom price
B4 Rs 8.57 lakh
B6 Rs 9.37 lakh
B6 (O) Rs 9.69 lakh
B8 Rs 9.99 lakh

On-road prices will be higher. They add road tax, insurance and other fees, and these change from state to state. See the latest Mahindra Bolero price and variants on Car4You.

Bolero Bold Edition engine and mileage

There is no change under the bonnet. The Bolero Bold Edition uses the same engine as the normal Bolero.

Spec Details
Engine 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder diesel
Power 76 hp
Torque 210 Nm
Gearbox 5-speed manual
Drive Rear-wheel drive
Seats 7

There is no automatic gearbox and no petrol engine. Since the engine is the same, the mileage will also be the same as the normal Bolero. Autocar India lists it at 16.5 kmpl.

Should you buy the Bolero Bold Edition?

The Bolero is still one of the toughest SUVs you can buy for under Rs 10 lakh. It is simple to fix, and it can take rough roads. That is why it sells so well in small towns and villages.

The Bold Edition does not make it faster or safer. It only makes it look different and adds a camera. If you like the black and bronze look, it is a nice way to make your Bolero stand out. If you only care about price, the normal Bolero does the same job.

If you want a Bolero with a few more modern features, also look at the Mahindra Bolero Neo. For a bigger and more powerful Mahindra, see the Scorpio Classic. You can also read more new vehicle launch news on Car4You.
