Car4You (car4you.in) publishes car prices, specifications, comparisons and news for readers in India. This page explains what information the site handles when you browse, search, or write to us.

Information the site receives

• Pages you open, the browser and device type, and the approximate region derived from the connection. The server records this in ordinary request logs used to keep the site available.
• Words you type into search, filters and calculators. Those requests are used to show results and are not sold as a contact list.
• Details you submit on the contact form: your name, email, phone if you provide one, and the message. We use that only to reply.
• A saved comparison or recently viewed list stored in your browser so the tools remember the cars you picked on this device.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

The site uses cookies and similar storage for the comparison tools and to understand which pages are useful. Audience measurement may include Google Analytics. Advertising slots, when present, may be filled by Google AdSense or a similar network. Those partners can set their own cookies to limit repeat ads and to measure views. You can block third-party cookies in your browser; the car listings and articles still load.

How long we keep it

Contact messages stay in the editorial inbox until the question is answered and for a short period after, in case you follow up. Server logs are rotated as part of normal hosting. Browser storage for compare and recent cars stays until you clear it.
