Hyundai Bayon Features: AI Assistant, Screens, OTA

Generative AI voice assistant

This is Hyundai India's first. It uses intelligence by Perplexity and voice AI by SoundHound AI. It understands conversational requests, such as planning a road-trip itinerary, checking the weather, or suggesting hotels, restaurants and shopping nearby, rather than only fixed commands.

Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC)

Accelerated by NVIDIA, it offers online onboard navigation, a personalised quick-control panel, split screen and smartphone-like controls.

Displays

Dual 12.3-inch (62.5cm) curved panoramic displays for the instrument cluster and infotainment, with individual user profiles.

Over-the-air updates

Up to 19 controllers can be updated remotely (C-OTA), so some updates do not need a dealer visit.

Hyundai Bluelink

70+ connected features, including remote start/stop, remote vehicle controls, smartphone and smartwatch connectivity, location services and safety and security alerts.

Languages and offline voice

The interface supports 10 regional and 2 international languages. 500+ embedded voice commands work without internet in English, Hindi, Hinglish, Tamil, Bengali and Telugu.

Other reported features

Front parking sensors, a 360-degree camera and 17-inch alloy wheels (carandbike). The cabin has physical shortcut buttons and a drive-mode selector on the steering wheel (Autocar India).
