Is Hero Motors the same as Hero MotoCorp?

No. Many people mix them up. Hero MotoCorp makes the Splendor and other bikes. Hero Motors Limited is a different firm. It makes parts for cars and bikes. Its main parts are gears, gearboxes and drive shafts. It sells them to car and bike makers in India and abroad. It makes parts for EVs too.

Hero Motors is run by Pankaj Munjal's side of the Hero family. The Munjal family owns most of it. Its stock code is HEROMOTORS on the NSE and 544936 on the BSE.
