Denza India debut: 13 November

Denza is the luxury brand of BYD. BYD has confirmed that Denza will make its India debut on 13 November 2026. BYD has not yet said which cars it will show. Reports say the first two will be the D9 MPV and the Z9 GT. Both are expected to come in as fully imported cars and sit above BYD models like the BYD Sealion 7.

The D9 is a large, plush MPV. It will take on the MG M9 and the Toyota Vellfire. Reports say the India car gets a 103 kWh battery, 313 hp and about 520 km of WLTP range. The Z9 GT is a low, sleek electric estate. It is said to have three motors with a total of 1,156 hp. Reports also quote 0 to 100 kmph in 2.7 seconds and about 600 km of WLTP range. Treat all of these as expected until Denza shares India specs.

The bigger mass market launches look set for early 2027.
